In 2005 the state of Florida, USA was hit by numerous hurricans at a cost of several billion dollars and hundreds of lives lost. The number of Countries that sent aid for the dissaster relife was a big fat ZERO.

There’s a huge difference in situation – Indonesia is among the poorest country in the world. USA is among the richest, if not THE richest, country in the world.

Naturally, people assume that your government can take care of their own people.
Even a few countries hit by the last tsunami rejected foreign aids (while they’re definitely poorer than USA) and said they can take care of themselves.

We are still digging out so I would be careful with the stengy remarks.

Apologies, but I can’t see any benefit from statements like this. We’re all the same, of human race; and statements like this only serves to divide us. And pride of one’s nation has been way too many times manipulated by fascist leaders for their own benefit. An example, freedom activists in USA will sadly remember how it was like before 9/11 in USA, compared to now.
