Crazy Shopping Time
It seems that if you want to get the BEST deals in the whole year, in Christmas-celebrating countries, then do your shopping on January.
My friends has confirmed that indeed on January his sales dropped to a very dangerously low level. This is probably due to most people’s spending ability already spent and exhausted on Christmas.
Just look at the following crazy deals I encountered when I was casually strolling on Birmingham’s city center, with no intention to do any shopping:
Women’s boots for only 5 pounds (about Rp 90.000 !)
I was not able to resist this one though ! One pound for a book ?? I ended up buying some…
Owh… I hurt myself with my overloaded baggage, filled with these books (among others). Must - not - visit - Birmingham - on - January …..

Oh… This is an old trick… If you want to avoid the December agglomeration and big prices, you should postpone your needs and wishes until January.

Several of my family members begin their Christmas shopping right after Christmas. The bargains are unbelievable, especially on the seasonal items. A great way to stretch your Christmas shopping budget in this strained economy.
