Yes, prostate cancer prevention is the key as with all diseases. Take antioxidants, for example. Some find green tea very helpful.

Ah, this is what is rare in blogosphere: a post about several old men. For all we know it's 'no country for old men'( thank you, ethan and joel coen, clsn).

As for new cancer remedies and priests; though the news is upbeat, I remain sceptic.

The drug is, according to the source I read, still in it's experimental phase. Results seems to be very promising indeed. But this kind of news returns on a regular basis in the news media - and too often turns out to be by far too preliminary. So, I keep to the kind of prevention you recommend.

And old priests ( although "old'? He is a rookie, 62, compared to the really weathered warriors. And not very special compared to other rockers. Aren't his less holy colleagues Mick Jagger and Keith Richards still going strong?))doing a gimmick to promote their multinational, is sympathetic. Although I've seen this PR trick by clergymen in the sixties already: to no avail.

(PS: As to the DNA topic: The data gathering mania ( plans in some countries - mine for instance- to create a DNA bank where the DNA 'fingerprints' of all citizen will be filed, for instance) is a problem of climate change dimensions. It's a pretty silent, though chilling revolution, which may turn independent citizens in subjects at the will of good or bad authorities. Well, let's not elaborate ..)
