:: Mungkin ada orang yang mencaci maki ibu ini, karena asyik dengan handphone nya sementara anaknya tenggelam. Padahal, ada kemungkinan bukan demikian hal yang sebenarnya terjadi lho.<\/p>\n

Yang banyak orang belum tahu adalah, selama ini kita dikibuli oleh Hollywood. Orang yang tenggelam itu #tidak<\/a> heboh ! Mereka malah cenderung diam saja, karena, sedang panik berusaha untuk bisa terus bernafas.<\/p>\n

Perhatikan video tersebut, lifeguard menyelamatkan anak yang tenggelam itu dari belakang, karena aman – yang sedang panik tenggelam jadi tidak bisa menenggelamkan penolongnya.<\/p>\n

The new captain jumped from the deck, fully dressed, and sprinted through the water. A former lifeguard, he kept his eyes on his victim as he headed straight for the couple swimming between their anchored sportfisher and the beach. <\/p>\n

\u00e2\u20ac\u009dMove!\u00e2\u20ac\u009d he barked as he sprinted between the stunned owners. Directly behind them, not ten feet away, their nine-year-old daughter was drowning. How did this captain know \u00e2\u20ac\u201c from fifty feet away \u00e2\u20ac\u201c what the father couldn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t recognize from just ten? <\/p>\n

Drowning is not the violent, splashing, call for help that most people expect. The captain was trained to recognize drowning by experts and years of experience. The father, on the other hand, had learned what drowning looks like by watching television. <\/p>\n

If you spend time on or near the water (hint: that\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s all of us) then you should make sure that you and your crew knows what to look for whenever people enter the water. Until she cried a tearful, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Daddy,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d she hadn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t made a sound. <\/p>\n

As a former Coast Guard rescue swimmer, I wasn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t surprised at all by this story. Drowning is almost always a deceptively quiet event. The waving, splashing, and yelling that dramatic conditioning (television) prepares us to look for, is rarely seen in real life.<\/p>\n

Anyway, inilah sebabnya mengapa ada lifeguard \/ penjaga di kolam renang di luar negeri. <\/p>\n

Orang awam mayoritas tidak tahu ciri orang tenggelam, DAN tidak tahu cara menolong yang benar – sehingga kadang malah turut jadi korban juga.<\/p>\n

Lifeguard \/ penjaga kolam sudah dilatih khusus untuk ini semua. <\/p>\n

Jadi pertanyaan yang seharusnya ditanyakan adalah : dimana lifeguard di kolam renang di hotel tersebut ?<\/p>\n

Jika ada lifeguard yang bertugas di kolam tersebut, anak tersebut bisa terhindar menjadi korban. <\/p>\n

Inilah pertanyaan yang seharusnya ditanyakan. Bukannya malah langsung menyalahkan ibu si korban dengan membabi buta.<\/p>\n
