Heboh-heboh tentang UKP-PPR akhirnya selesai juga, dan seperti dugaan saya, SBY berhasil mempertahankan keberadaan lembaga tersebut. Memang SBY adalah diplomat ulung.
Hanya saja mudah-mudahan tidak terlalu banyak yang telah dia korbankan untuk mempertahankan lembaga tersebut.
Sayang ya bahwa untuk dapat melayani rakyat, amat sulit untuk mengandalkan lembaga-lembaga yang telah ada, karena seringkali mereka justru menghalangi niat baik para atasannya. Beberapa contoh; untuk memberantas korupsi terpaksa dibentuk KPK, karena lembaga-lembaga yang ada mandul.
Lalu, niat untuk mensejahterakan rakyat justru dijegal oleh beberapa bawahan SBY yang berkongkalikong untuk impor beras. Dan masih banyak lainnya lagi.
Dulu saya pernah mengira bahwa jika ada orang baik yang berhasil menjadi Presiden, maka selesailah semua masalah negara kita. Naif 🙂
Setelah saya bekerja di kantor, saya melihat sendiri berbagai kasus dimana bawahan bisa menjegal berbagai kebijakan atasannya dengan berbagai cara. Apalagi jika ada banyak bawahan yang saling bekerja sama untuk itu, maka atasannya tinggal gigit jari saja. Hal ini karena terlalu banyaknya peraturan yang melindungi karyawan. Sehingga memang sulit bagi atasan untuk menjadi zalim. Namun di lain pihak, gantian para bawahannya yang bisa bermalas-malasan tanpa terkena sangsi apapun.
Apalagi ketika yang diurus adalah sebuah negara, bukan cuma entitas sekecil kantor.
Semoga Allah swt berkenan untuk segera mengangkat cobaan ini dari kita semua.
tepatlah apa yang diungkapkan aa gym, “orang jujur saja ndak cukup buat jadi presiden!”
