Thoroughly enjoyed "Jack the Giant Slayer" with my kids

After the waves of comic-based movies, now we have a rush of fairy tales-based movies — excellent 🙂 It's exciting to see your childhood stories brought to the big screen, especially when it's done right.

I must say though that this movie isn't perfect. Don't expect such thing, you'll only let yourself down. But as an entertainment in a Sunday night with your kids, I couldn't ask for a better movie. We had a blast watching it 🙂

Very interesting to see things such as how Jack lost his horse (and got the beans instead) in this movie, how the giants are explained, etc. How Jack developed from a clumsy boy into a dependable man.
And the twists in it are so fun 🙂 when I thought the movie started to quite down, and it seemed that it would end & be continued in a sequel – it roared back at you 😀 and concluded in a very satisfying way.

Yes, again, don't take this movie too seriously 🙂 recommended !
