I’ve been trying to setup a local repository here in my test rig.
I’ve got the whole files from Debian sarge DVDs, and now trying to update it.
Here’s a few links that I found useful :
1. Straightforward guide on how to setup a Debian repo (and also other hands-on guides). From Indonesian Debconf II, well done.
2. The most complete list of Debian repositories all over the world. May not be the most accurate though – a few of the Indonesian mirrors are inaccessible.
Also it lists Debian rsync servers all over the world, which is very useful to keep your local repository up to date. I usually execute rsync -avvuzP ftp3.nrc.ca::debian /mnt/repo/ to update mine.
3. Still got a few Woody boxes lying around ? Upgrade them now to Debian sarge.
This site to each day improves more! It continues thus!
