Ironis – negara “kafir” ini, Inggris, akan membuat Halal Center yang rencananya akan didirikan di daerah Wales.
Sementara di Indonesia, negara dengan populasi Muslim TERBESAR di dunia – MUI harus swadaya / berusaha sendirian mengadakan sertifikasi halal — dan itupun masih ditentang juga oleh banyak pihak. Termasuk oleh orang (yang mengaku) Islam sendiri 🙂

The mind boggles…..

Informasi dari MeatInternational.com, Kompleks Industri Halal ini akan mempekerjakan sekitar 3000 staf, dan bisa menghasilkan bisnis senilai Rp 60 trilyun atau lebih.

Aneh ya, justru orang “kafir” yang sudah menikmati rezeki dari yang halal. 😀
Sedangkan banyak kita di Indonesia yang masih memakan makanan / rezeki yang haram / syubhat / tidak jelas kehalalannya.

Kalau begini terus, bisa-bisa kebangkitan Islam itu akan diawali dari Inggris, ha ha 😀
Makin ironis…

Bagaimana ini umat Muslim Indonesia? Apakah kita akan mau terus terpuruk & terus berada dalam ironi seperti ini – atau kita akan berusaha untuk bangkit ? Dimulai dari mendidik & mencerdaskan diri kita sendiri & keluarga kita. Dan kemudian baru ke sekitar / lingkungan kita.

Halal industrial park proposed for south Wales – 19 Feb 2010

An industrial park for Islamic products including meat, which could mean about 3,000 jobs, is being considered in south Wales, in the UK.

The Chairman of Halal Industries, Mahesh Jayanarayan, said Wales was chosen as the project’s site for its meat industries and affordable land prices.

The firm, a private equity company, said it was raising funds for the venture, which could launch in three to five years.
According to Jayanarayan, the industrial park could create up to 3,000 jobs and would make the UK a landmark Halal centre for the region.

The park would provide services like storage freezers, a product packing centre, and raw material storage for manufacturers for food production. Meat selection and processing as well as research and development would also be offered.

The cost of the project will be £150m and Jayanarayan said he plans to raise the fund in the capital markets, through government grants, and by finding partners like supermarket chains and multinational food manufacturers .

Jayanarayan said, “If you look at some figures, the halal sector in the UK is worth between £2billion to £4billion, the majority of that is imported.

  9. wah mas harri, sudah lama gak posting, padahal saya tunggu-tunggu artikel-artikel inspiratifnya. ngomong-ngomong masalah yang diatas, teman saya pernah berkata kepada saya. kebetulan teman saya itu pernah kerja pada seorang bule di bali. dan dia menuturkan bahwa andai saja orang barat “kafir” itu memeluk islam, mungkin nanti kaplingan surga sudah habis diborong mereka. jadi memang pada intinya orang baratpun mengetahui dan memelajari Al Quran beserta As sunnah karena sudah terbukti di berbagai penelitian kevalidan dan kebenaran ilmu-ilmu yang terkandung didalamnya, dan ironisnya lagi. mereka mengaplikasikannya dalam kehidupan sehari-hari tanpa bertengkar karena perbedaan aliran ini dan aliran itu, mahdzab ini dan mahdzab itu. dengan kemampuan akal pikiran yang mereka miliki, mereka mampu mempraktekan apa yang diajarkan Al Quran dan As Sunnah karena memang sejatinya Al Quran adalah kitab suci Umat Islam, dan Islam sendiri adalah Rahmatan lil Alamin.

Kebangkitan Islam memang sedang berjalan pak, karena orang Islam paling banyak sedunia kan ada di Indonesia, jadi orang2 yg mau menghalangi kebangkitan Islam itu ngurusin Indonesia dulu 🙂 Segala cara dipakai, bikin macem-macem, termasuk RUU nikah siri dsb, dan itu juga pakai tangan organisasi Islam sendiri.

    Di tempat lain silakan lah Islam itu bangkit, asal jangan di Nusantara (Indonesia, Malaysia), kalau sudah bangkit repot nih (kata orang kafir penghalang kebangkitan Islam)

  31. well, di indonesia memang belum bisa kayaknya , bayangkan saja , jangankan mengetahui status halal dari suatu produk , untuk mengetahui apakah suatu produk mengandung bahan berbahaya atau tidak BPOM sering gagal mendeteksi .
    Misal, dari pewarna tekstil yang dipakai di makanan , keberadaan pengawet yang bukan untuk makan , ayam tiren , dll….
    walopun demikian , tetap saya bermimpi bahwa indonesia bisa seperti itu 🙂

    Contoh: Ayam tiren, hati ayam (yang sebetulnya adalah darah beku), bakso tikus, seafood – yang dimasak dengan wine / alkohol / minyak babi, daging yang disembelih tanpa membaca bismillah, dst, dst.

    Malah JAUH lebih mudah mendapatkan makanan yang jelas halal di Inggris – tinggal cek apakah makanan tsb :

Menurut saya muslim di Indonesia hanya terbatas pada predekat saja atau keturunan karena org tua islam anak hrs islam umumnya muslim Indonesia hanya di ktp, itu terbukti dari banyaknya muslim Indonesia membaca alqur’an saja masih bengkok bagaimana bisa mengkaji alqur’an. Saya masih ingat ketika ulil abshor mengatakan “ Muslim Indonesia sulit maju karena malas berpikir, dan lebih banyak tawakkalnya dari pada usaha /reset.”. dari kata2 ulil itu banyak muslim Indonesia yg mencak2 alias tdk terima. Belum lagi org jaman sekrg umumnya org liat kusuksesan dri duit /bukan moral (kesuksesan selalu dilihat dr harta) akhirnya peddkan agama utk anak2 dibiarkan, apalagi skrang jamannya game online sperti Point Blanksering membuat anak jadi lupa waktu kalo tidak dingatkan. bagaimana bisa mengenal islam lebih dalam ? Pantas kalo surga bakalan di borong org inkar.
