My daughter asked me about the Anonymous (Guy Fawkes) mask, so I took the chance to show her the first few minutes of the "V for Vendetta".
They were not disappointed 🙂 and we will watch the whole movie tomorrow together.

The movie covers a lot of very important topic. For example; how propaganda works, misinformation, How to hijack Religion to enable one to rule as evil dictator, privacy and how it will be breached by governments, importance of freedom, how government turn the people into each other (divide et impera / adu domba) to distract them from the government's crimes, etc, etc.

They will not get it all at once. But, hopefully it will serve as an excellent introduction to these issues.

And to quote V :

"Voila !

In View, a humble Vaudevillian Veteran…cast Vicariously as both Victim and Villain by the Vicissitudes of fate. This Visage, no mere Veneer of Vanity…..is a Vestige of the Vox populi, now Vacant, Vanished.

However, this Valorous Visitation of a bygone Vexation stands Vivified….and has Vowed to Vanquish these Venal and Virulent Vermin Vanguarding Vice…and Vouchsafing the Violently Vicious and Voracious Violation of Volition.

The only Verdict is Vengeance, a Vendetta…held as a Votive not in Vain, for the Value and Veracity of such…shall one day Vindicate the Vigilant and the Virtuous. Verily, this Vichyssoise of Verbiage Veers most Verbose.

So let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you…and you may call me V."

  1. True 🙂 they're pretty shocked :)) but then they're at last happy at the end of the movie 🙂 seeing the people got united, the corrupt politicians removed (permanently :), etc.

Aaaannndd loads of questions during the movie 😀 which is always a good thing.

We need MORE of these movies.
